Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to the Islington Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (ICJMR) are reviewed through a structured peer review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and relevance.

After submission, the editorial team conducts an initial screening to check whether the manuscript fits the journal’s aims and scope, follows submission guidelines, and meets basic academic and ethical standards. Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the author or rejected at this stage.

Suitable manuscripts are then sent for peer review. Reviewers evaluate the submission based on originality, clarity, research design, methodology, analysis, discussion, contribution, referencing, and overall academic quality. Based on the reviewers’ comments, the editorial team may make one of the following decisions:

Accept the manuscript.

Accept with minor revisions.

Request major revisions.

Reject the manuscript.

Authors receiving revision requests are expected to address reviewer comments carefully and submit a revised version within the given timeframe. The final decision regarding publication rests with the editorial team.

ICJMR is committed to maintaining a fair, constructive, and transparent review process that supports academic development and research excellence.
