Plagiarism Policy
The Islington Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (ICJMR) maintains a strict policy against plagiarism and academic misconduct. All submitted manuscripts must be original and must properly acknowledge the work, ideas, data, words, and contributions of others.
Plagiarism may include copying text without citation, paraphrasing without acknowledgement, using another author’s ideas without credit, submitting someone else’s work as one’s own, duplicate submission, self-plagiarism, or improper use of sources.
Manuscripts may be checked for similarity using plagiarism detection tools and editorial review. If plagiarism or academic misconduct is identified, ICJMR may take appropriate action, including:
Returning the manuscript to the author for clarification.
Rejecting the manuscript.
Withdrawing the published article.
Informing relevant institutional authorities, where necessary.
Authors are encouraged to ensure proper citation, referencing, paraphrasing, and ethical use of sources before submission.
